HYVE

Accessibility

Last updated 5 October 2026

HYVE wants the shop to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, and zoom. This page says what we aim for and how to tell us when something gets in the way. It is not a claim that the site has been certified.

What we aim for

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. That means, in practice, text that can be resized, contrast that can be read, controls that work from a keyboard, and names on buttons and form fields. The Irish official languages of the legal pages are English. Product information is published in English.

The European Accessibility Act applies to many consumer services from 28 June 2025. Grocery e-commerce should be checked against that Act and the Irish implementing rules before launch. This draft does not replace that check.

Known limits

We have not completed an independent accessibility audit. Some older product photographs may lack detailed descriptions. A third party, Stripe, handles the card payment page and is responsible for the accessibility of that page. If a barrier stops you completing an order, contact us and we will take the order by email or phone.

Tell us about a barrier

Email hyvegrocery@gmail.com or phone +353 89 454 1692. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used. We will reply and work on a fix.
